I would be delighted to study at North Sichuan Medical College due to it being one of 30 universities in China offering places to accept international students for MBBS. Similarly, I value the fact that courses are in English, as I only started Chinese this year and while I am improving, it would be very challenging for me in Chinese. Another factor is that the internships are directly provided by the school, which makes the process more calm and collected, as I do not have many contacts in China and it would be very complex to arrange individually. Moreover, I also believe many international students will be in this program, giving me the opportunity to learn more about the cultures of other places and China too. Finally, the most important part is that there is eligibility to take Medical Licensing exaations for different ries, allowing to gain more knowledge on an international level.

I didnt choose North Sichuan Medical College lightly, but rather, it came down to a few things that really matter to me.
1. The clinical training. Ive learned volunteering at UROCARE Liberia that you cant become a good doctor just by reading textbooks. You have to be patient, ask questions, make mistakes, learning people whove been doing it for years. NSMC gets students into clinical settings early, and thats exactly the kind of training I want.
2. Im cog Liberia—thousands of miles away, a different language, different everything. I needed a place I wouldnt just be another international student trying to figure things out alone. From what Ive learned, NSMC actually cares about its international students. The faculty is supportive, and current students have told me the environment is welcog. That gives me peace of d.
3. I want to be the kind of doctor who sees the person, not just the case. From everything Ive read and heard, NSMC values compassion just as much as clinical skill. That matters to me. A lot.

Program Description
Teaching Objective
The curriculum planning shall include the following three parts:
(1) Chinese culture and natural science courses, including an overview of China's culture, Chinese language, Chinese medical terminology, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, physical education, etc. It is required to pass the examinations of these courses respectively.
(2) Basic medical sciences, behavioral science, humanities, social science and medical ethics, preventive medicine and clinical medicine. It is also required to pass the examinations of these courses respectively.
(3) Internship. The institutions shall meticulously organize the reasonable arrangement of the internship. The duration of the internship is one year (at least 48 weeks).
In order to facilitate their learning and life inChinaand contact with patients in their medical practice, the Chinese language shall be a compulsory course during the whole undergraduate medical program in English for international students.Main Courses
Human Anatomy, Histology and Embryology, physiology, Biochemics, pharmacology, preventive medicine, diagnostics, internal medicine, chirurgery, Gynecotokology, Pediatrics, Traditional Chinese Medicine.
